Need Help Hotel Close to Disney

We will be coming to Disney in approx. 5 1/2 weeks we will either drive to Tallahassee and spend the night or drive on in.
My ?'s are if we drive on in we will need a room for that first night off Disney property what would be a good choice close to disney.
Safe Area, Clean Room, under 100.00 a night.

Another ? if anyone is familiar with Tallahassee can you recommend a hotel on 1-10.

I was told Tallahassee (excuse spelling) was approx. 4 hrs. from Disney

Any help is really appreciated we have had to drop two days from our orginal disney vacation because of husbands job changes but this will be our
5th trip to Disney so not to bad.

Yup, Tallahassee is only 4/4.5 hours from Disney (depending on traffic).

There are two major exits that have lots of hotels and restaurants -- the 1st you'll encounter is US 27 (N. Monroe), and the other is US 319.

I've stayed at the Ramada on N. Monroe (several years ago). Rooms were clean, etc. There's plenty of gas stations and restaurants nearby.

I've stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn off of 319, and had a decent stay at a decent rate. Nearby is fast food, an Outback, gas stations, etc. Also nearby is a Residence Inn.

Thank you this at least gives me a starting point. If we did decide to drive on in where would you recommend close to Disney for one night.

Can anyone tell me an info about the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista at 8150 Parkway they told me they are about 5-10 minutes from Disney since I have never stayed outside the park is this a good location for just one night so we can be at Disney the next day to meet up with our family.
