Need Help - Ft Lauderdale

I need your help! Actually, my friend needs your help.

He and his wife are planning on a cruise out of Ft Lauderdale and need a reasonably priced hotel before and after the cruise. Where it gets tough is they would like a hotel that has shuttle service to both the airport and the Princess Cruise area.

Your help is greatly appreciated and needed.

Good more inexpensive hotels right next to the cruise port are: Comfort Suites Cruise Port or Holiday Inn Express Convention Center.
One level up in amenities is Amerisuites Convention Center.
Other nicer hotels are Embassy Suites, Renaissance Hotel, Marriott Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66.
Most of these hotels can be booked very cheaply via Priceline.com or Hotwire.com. Try http://www.betterbidding.com for help.
A taxi between airport and these hotels should be under $15. Many of these hotels are so close to Port Everglades, you could walk there. Many of them have free shuttles, but I do not remember which ones.

Thanks for the information! I did a little research and gave Priceline a try. Was successful with the Marriott Marina for $48.00....
