I'm not able to visit Sea World too much, so I am not sure of the traffic patterns. My family is scheduling a visit for Sunday, September 12 OR Thursday, September 16. Sunday would work best for us, but we are afraid of high crowds on the weekend. Like just about everyone, we try to avoid crowds when possible. Will Sunday be too bad crowd-wise compared to Thursday?

Thanks for your help.

To be honest, I've never even seen a big crowd at SeaWorld. It's the least popular park in Orlando. You shouldn't have to worry, especially in September.

Gotta disagree SW can get pretty busy at the weekend as most expect the main theme parks to be very busy and as SW is more tight on space it can feel pretty busy for shows get there 20 min befor starting as they fill up quick:jester:

JT3000 Sea World was ranked higher than ever Orlando park except IOA this year on the Theme Park Insider Survey of top parks. just thought I would point that out:teeth:

morphi - you shouldn't have too much trouble, Sundays tend to be a little slower and September is also not as busy of a month with school starting back. Most shows have a high capacity so it isn't really an issue. Have fun.

This is our first trip to Sea World.....

We are going on Friday Oct 22. Will we be ok crowd wise. Do you think we can see everthing if we get there when it opens and leave by 3:00???? We are wanting to get to the beach and check into our Inn by 5:00 that day???

Thanks for any tips???:sunny:

And? That doesn't change the fact that it's Orlando's least popular park.

September and October are historically low crowd times at SeaWorld in general, so you should be fine.

If you use your time wisely, you an see nearly everything at the park between 9 and 3. However, you'll miss the last Shamu show of the show (the "night show", similar to the daytime show but with different music), and you'll miss what I think is the best show they have, the evening sea lion show, Sea Lions Tonight. It's really, really funny, and I would call it a "don't miss".
