]I need help planning birthday dinner for 12 year old girl celebrating in WDW in December. What is the best place for kids birthday dinner for 11 people? Are there special things that can be requested from the restaurant to make the celebration extra special?

11 people make it tough... Crystal Palace in MK or 1900 park fare in GF spring to mind that could more easily accommodate that big a group. You can order cake.

California Grill will be able to handle you, too. We've had 12 there for a Bday celebration and they put you along the windows in the back. They took the birthday boy's picture and gave him a free dessert.

Depending on when you are going in December, you may have trouble getting reservations for that size group. I would pick a few restaurants and call NOW to see where they can accommodate you. Some of my DD14 favorite restaurants at that age were California Grill, Jiko (both are expensive), Teppan Edo (seating for 8 at a grill), Crystal Palace. Good luck!

If you're staying at a Disney resort you may also want to look into a "Grand Gathering" for the birthday party. My family did the IllumiNations International Buffet a few years ago and there were lots of people there celebrating birthdays.

At Le Cellier they sang and gave DH a birthday card signed by the staff. It was really nice.

At Chef Mickey's, DS got a signed place mat to bring home and a cupcake with Mickey sprinkles.

If you are staying on-site be sure to tell them at the resort. They may do something special.
