need help from creative people

My son's sixth grade English class just finished reading "The Egypt Game" and now that they're done they are going to have a party period and the teacher invited the parents to send individually wrapped treats or snacks. Since the book is about Egypt, I thought it would be neat to send something to tie in with the book. Originally I was thinking of sending cupcakes with hieroglyphics on top of the cupcake, but since they have to be wrapped individually that wouldn't work.

Does anyone have any creative ideas? Thanks for your help.

Although not individually wrapped, how about an authentic Egyptian Beverage?
Providing you can get your hands on some Hibiscus flowers, this might make a really interesting cold tea drink for the party.

Make rice crispy treats cut them into individual small sqaures. Small enough that once they take them out of the baggy they can build there own pyramids.
