Which is the BEST tour line to take for Hollywood?

You might want to change your title because as a local Southern Californian I went into your post to see if you needed help with where to go or what to do, but as a local I've never taken a "tour", so I have no idea. I bet most of the people who read your post are locals who are thinking the same thing I have, but just like me, don't know the tours because we don't use them. You should probably post a title closer to what you're looking for, so the out-of-towners, who are more likely to take a tour can help.

When I went to California in April I took the LA/Hollywood tour with Anaheim 411. It was a good tour and there weren't many people (6) of us, so it was a small van. We did a drive through downtown LA, some time on Hollywood BLVD at the Theater, a drive through Beverly Hills, a stop on Rodeo Dr, about at the Grove/Farmers Market, and about an hour at each Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach. The Grove was just an outdoor shopping mall so I spent my time at the farmers market there were some interesting food stands there.
