This will be our first time not being home for Thanksgiving. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to dine for Thanksgiving at WDW? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We will also be in Disney for Thanksgiving. We tried to eat at HDD but the only time available (for party of 10) was 9:30, too late for us. so we are eating at O'hana's. Liberty Tree Tavern has the standard meal and characters but you may be too late to get in there.

Thanksgiving is one of the busiest times at Disney so I would call ASAP with a list of choices and take whatever you can get.

I think most of the TS restaurants have a traditional meal available on Thanksgiving so it may be more about "where" you want to be than what you want to eat.

But I agree, get to dialing... You want to eat somewhere.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving Day? When you call you can ask for the list of what is available for Thanksgiving. They will list all the restaurants and times.

Many of the restaurants will have extended hours so if you don't mind eating earlier, you should have some options left.

But, I agree with the previous posters, call as soon as you can. Even if you don't get your first choice, make an ADR for something else. You can always switch if your first choice becomes available. Thanksgiving week is a busy time at WDW. If you are planning on having sit down meals at the table service restaurants, you should make all of your ADR's asap!

We tried for CA Grill at the Contemporary, but they were booked. We decided on Jiko at the AKL since they will have regular menu items available (DH is not a big turkey fan).

Good Luck!

I'm wondering the same thing! Where to eat for Thanksgiving dinner??
I hope we're not to late in the game to get a decent ressie!:confused3

Anyone else with a recommendation?

I let DS10 pick where we're eating Thanksgiving dinner & he wanted Chef Mickeky's so....Chef Mickey's it is at 7:05pm!!

I've done The Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club twice for Thanksgiving.
Traditional Thanksgiving faire along with an assortment of seafood choices and a variety of desserts. We enjoyed it so much the first time during Thanksgiving, we didn't want anywhere else the 2nd time:thumbsup2
The best tip I can give you- stay out of the parks on Turkey Day. ::yes::
WE had ADR's both years and in 06 they were taking "walk-ins" ( no ressies)
