need help for a friend with her avatar

I totally forgot how to have make an avatar smaller to have it under your name...
My friend just got onto these boards and I am trying to help her and can not....

I would love to know the same thing...I have a really pretty avatar of the castle but it is too big for me to use on these boards. If you do find the answer please post it here I would appreciate it.

Right click on the picture you want from my pictures I suggest you make a copy of it then Right click on it and select edit then from the edit screen, under image select stretch and skew and set it at 50%. then select it as your avatar through the signature screen and click browse my pictures. The easiest way is to just resize it then save as the new size.

You can do this in MS PAINT or I use Irfanview (free download)

I like this program because it's easy to use and is very flexable .It will let to choose the size the the % of Quaility allowing a 9 Mp to go to 4 K with ease.
