this seems so dumb, but after so many years of buying light bulbs, I am stumped. I have a Mickey lamp, the one with a flat oval metal base, a longish metal "stem" and a metal curved Mickey head shaped shade. The bulb goes behind the shade. There is a notation on the socket to use a 40watt or less Type S bulb. The one that came with it is fairly small and quite round. Well, I have been trying to find a replacement bulb. What is a type S? I can't find that on any package. Talk about speciality bulbs; I have seen just about everything. The only one I found with somewhat of a resemblance, says it is a high intensity bulb. I don't want to overheat anything, so I didn't dare buy that one. Can anyone help me with some advise? Sheesh, I thought the only choice was wattage and incandesant or flourescent!
Thanks.
