Need help finding inexpensive room

Just finished booking airfare for a short girls only trip. Going at the end of January and saw the other day that I can get a value Disney resort for about $62.00 a night. Need advise on if I should just do that or if there is a chance on finding a close to WDW/DTD hotel (that we would feel safe at since we are just two females) and less than the $62.00 a night. I'm thinking we should just do the POP, but one of our DH's seem to think we should be able to do cheaper at a non-Disney hotel that time of year.

I know you can get cheaper but is it worth t? You will have to pay for parking & it will also take extra time to travel.

I got Quality inns and suites for when we are going to universal for 3 nights for $40. per night including hot continental breakfast. They matched another websites lower price. They actually have decent reviews on trip advisor and other sites

Are you using Magical Express? That makes the Disney value an even better deal. For a short trip, the Disney value is a great deal.

Didn't even think about the parking costs. That is what? $15 a day now? So, to make another hotel really cheaper, it would have to be $47 or less. Yeah, I think I'm just going to go with Pop Century. Thanks for the advise!
