i thought after searching and searching that i had found the perfect villa in winsor hills. (mickey's manor) i wanted a pool, spa, game room and at least 3 bedrooms. when i called to book it, found out that we will not be able to see the fireworks from the villa. i know i am asking a lot but does anyone know of a villa with all the above and also the view of the fireworks. i just thought that i would ask just incase there is one out there that i have not found.

If it's important to you, you should probably keep looking---you can type "fireworks disney" into the VRBO search box on the www.vrbo.com front page, and you'll get about 100 different hits.

Has anyone really had a good view from an offiste villa, though? I could be wrong, but I can't imagine any offiste villa being able to see much more than a glimmer of fireworks in the distance. I'd rather watch them from inside the parks! ;)

oh we will be at the dw some of the nights, but if for some reason we are not able to go a couple of nights, i don't want to miss anything

It certainly wasn't something we were expecting but we had an awesome view of the high fireworks from the home we just rented in Windsor Hills.

It was a 6 brdm/4 bath home though so I don't know if that is too big for you.
It was pretty close to the entrance and I was surprised that we were able to see so much.

My DH noticed them the first night and after that we made a point of watching them from our bedroom. The second floor had a better view than the pool area.

Our house didn't have a game room though and I think for our next vacation I want to try a house that has one....just to see what it's like and if we'll use it now that my children are getting a little older.

Good luck with your planning and have a wonderful trip!

I am definitely going to have to check into renting a villa for our next trip. We have stayed in timeshares, but we now have two little puggies and a pet friendly villa might be just what we need. Thanks for the info.

I've actually shied away from most homes with game rooms. Usually, they are in the garage, and I like leaving the car in the garage---keeps me from dealing with the "dew issue" in the morning. Also, most garages are not air conditioned. We go in the late winter (feb/mar) so it wouldn't be horrible, but even then, they can get pretty warm.

We could see them - albeit *very, very tiny* from our villa in Davenport, 2nd floor balcony.

So very tiny that my DSIL had a hard time seeing what I was trying to point out to her...and the villa was listed as having a fireworks view.

Soooo, look for a villa that has all the amenities that you want, and need, to be comfortable for your vacation.

And if you're not in the parks for fireworks one evening, make reservations at one of the monorail hotels for a later dinner, and enjoy their vantage points.

HTH - and have a wonderful trip!!
