Need help finding a song....***FOUND IT****

I think it was called "Summer nights" or something like that...NOT the song from Grease....I think it may have been a one hit wonder or something...from the early 80's or earlier. Trying to thing of the lyrics and I can't!!!


I know this is a long shot...but does anyone know what I song I am talking about??

Oops sorry....should have thought about that.....It was a group...singer was a guy....more of a rock song....about summer nights....but a slower song. Talking about how good the summer was etc....I am trying to search around too...man it is bugging me!!!
