I am afraid of running out of time - was trying to book cheaply (3 star) with Priceline and keep getting turned down, so I decided to just call around Cocoa Beach for rates and am finding out that some are booked up for Sept. 16th and others are limited. So PLEASE HELP ME!! Anyone who has stayed at the Doubletree or Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn, please respond! I would like to book tonight if possible!

Let me know what you liked (or didn't like). Last year we stayed for a week in May at Motel 6 and believe it or not I was impressed and would stay there again but we are really wanting oceanfront since this year we are only staying 1 night before the cruise instead of 7.

thanks for the help!
Karen

Hi There,
We Just Ret'd From Our Land & Sea Jan30-feb 6, After Our Cruise We Stayed At The Holiday Inn Oceanfront In Cocoa Beach. It Was Ok, They Are Still Recovering From The Hurricanes, Operating At About 50% Capacity. Our Room Was Clean, The Pool Was Open, And You Didn't Hear The Workers At All. The Thing I Liked The Most Of All, It Was 15 Min. From The Port. When We Got Off We Were There By 8:45 Am, They Got Us A Room Right Away (we Did Have Ressies, But We Were About 8 Hours Early). For The Night Before The Cruise This Would Be Perfect, nice And Close. Enjoy!

Hi, we have stayed at the Best Western, and this last time Comfort Suites. Both were ok in our book. THis was also during, and inbetween hurricanes, so everything was not at 100% either. But efficient and clean enough. I would probably prefer Comfort Suites, found the customer service fantastic! We also loved the proximity with the stores across the street, and restaurants!!

Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies! If anyone knows an oceanfront motel at about $100 or less a night that is ok, let me know!

thanks again,
Karen

Both these were "oceanfront" and under 100$. IT was not like look out your window and there is the ocean, but a hop skip and jump, and there it is. On second thought they both had "real" oceanfront, we just did not pay it.
