Need help: EPCOT FW and TL in same day...

I "need" to go to EPCOT Future World and Typhoon Lagoon on the same day, all before 5:00! (I have reservations for dinner at California Grill that night) It's Saturday, Sept. 16. No EMH for EPCOT (opens at 9), but TL has one and it also opens at 9:00. I know we will only get a couple of hours at each place, but my question is, should we go to TL in the AM or EPCOT? I am leaning toward getting FW in from 9-12, then heading over to TL for the afternoon. Any thoughts on this????

The booths for F&W that are "tastes" of food and wine (and sometimes beer) from the countries are located in World Showcase, which doesnt open until 11am -

at allearsnet.com if you do a search, it will pull up the menus (and pictures) of previous years to give you an idea...

I read a different question than eeyore . . . Anyway, my preference would be to go to TL for the EMH and then stay until about 11:00 or noon. Go back to the resort, relax, and get lunch. Then head over to EPCOT to do FW. Of course, you will have nearly no chance at Soarin', in the afternoon.

Your plan sounds fine though. What time is your California Grill ADR?
