My husband and I have visisted DisneyWorld many many times and have always stayed off site at very nice timeshares. Of course I've always wanted to stay on site but never been able to justify the cost.
So when the free dining came up for September I thought . . hmmm.
We already have tickets from purchasing the 10 day pass a few months ago so . . . .
I booked a moderate (Caribbean) standard view with one day for a park (which you have to have) and got the delux dining plan because we like some of the signature restaurants. The price came out to be $1531. I was all excited and then started thinking.
Our timeshare costs us $169 for the week and we have a large condo. So starting with $1531 - $169 = $1,362 for food for six days which would be $227.00 a day. All of a sudden I'm thinking hmmm . . .
so can anyone tell me why I should stay on site and spend that type of $$. I know everyone loves on site but I'm just curious . . . Please don't yell at me . . . I'm really trying to figure out how to justify this. FYI - we would rent a car either way. Thanks for your help.
