Could you guys please rank these four restaurants?

Sci Fi
50s prime time
Rainforest Cafe
Crystal Palace

Thanks!
Jessica

1. 50s Prime Time Cafe - the quintessential themed dining experience at WDW

2. Sci-Fi - a very very distant second place
3. Crystal Palace
4. Rainforest Cafe

Sci-Fi - we love it and regretted that we didn't do it last trip. The food is a small step above counter service but the atmosphere is great. Desserts are wonderful.

50s Prime Time - Have only eaten there once and that was plenty. We felt this was the most over-rated experience at WDW. We thought the soup was canned and the menu too heavy for a hot Florida day. The service and atmosphere is okay. The vast majority of people love it so it's worth a shot to decide if it's right for your family.

Rainforest Cafe - it's a neat experience but if if you have one near your hometown I'd recommend trying it there. The menus are the same and the atmosphere is the same at all of them - showers every 20 minutes and animatronics. My daughter loves the restaurant so we like to visit. Maybe if you had a DTD day scheduled I'd give it a shot but with so many other options out there I wouldn't make it a priority.

Crystal Palace - haven't been to this one in years because the last time we went it was dreadful and we haven't been able to bring ourselves back. With so many other character meals as possibilities we always opt for them. But if your kids are big Pooh fans and you want to get an early start you may want to think of scheduling the first seating possible in the morning. I've heard breakfast is pretty standard fare.

Sorry I've been so long winded. I hope this helps. Our order is the same you've listed from most to least favorite.

I'll put in my two cents!

1. SciFI Diner - atmosphere is so cool! It is really dark though and the food is only OK.

2. Crystal Palace - It's a good place for character interaction and my kids love the buffet.

3. 50's Prime Time Cafe - I haven't been there in a few years. It's a fun experience, but I get embarrased too easily and it's a little embarrasing at times.

4. Rainforest Cafe - Not a bad place, just too many other options in Disney.

As you can see, opinions vary widely.

Haven't been to Sci Fi due to all the horrible reviews and the fact that scary B movies just don't seem an appealing dinner show (especially for a 3 and 6 year old).

Rainforest Cafes are fine. We've eaten at the one in DTD and in the Mall of America. The food is good, but I second the comment that if you have one near your home, go there. If you don't, might be a good option. My son was 4 at the time we went and the gorillas freaked him out a bit. We just went to the one in the Mall a month ago and he and my DD3 LOVED it.

We HAVE been to Crystal Palace for lunch twice and to 50s Prime Time Cafe once. We really enjoyed both. I thought the food was exceptional at CP during lunch and we are going back for breakfast this August. Plus, with little ones, Pooh characters are a must.

50s Prime Time Cafe was a great time - you have to feel like playing along or it may be a waste, though. I enjoyed the food.

If you are traveling with small children who like Pooh and friends I would definitely do Crystal Palace, the characters are great and the buffet is good too. My kids ages 7 and 8 won't do Crystal Palace anymore, so I'd rank 50's Prime Time first for my family, the food is good and the waitstaff can really make the experience fun for everyone!
