We will be traveling with a pretty big party. We are going for DS (8) and DN (10) birthdays and my graduation from college. As of right now we will have 6 kids under the age of 10, me, hubby, sister, my mom, FIL, MIL, and 17 yr old. I know we will want to do character meals and princesses. Other than that, I have no idea. I keep trying to find threads that might have this already, but no such luck. If there is something on here, please direct me :) TIA!

First of all congrads to you! What is the degree in??

So large party, GREAT!! I can help you, but give me more info.

Do you want buffets all the time? Or sometimes table service? Is your party daring to try new things to eat?? Are there foods your party hates (ie chinese, seafood, etc??):)

What foods does you party like? and NOT like?

Looking for help for breakfast lunch dinner, or all 3?? :)

My degree is in Mathematics. I am wanting to teach high school students.

Do you want buffets all the time? We don't have to eat buffets all the time, but I think it would be nice to have a few since I can make sure the kids will get full.
Table services will also be nice, but again we will have 6 children from 3-10.

Is your party daring to try new things to eat?? Not sure what you mean by this one. What exactly is different? I think we are open to anything as long as there is a normal children's menu to eat from.

Are there foods your party hates? I don't think anyone is against any one food. I know seafood would be a go! Other than that, I think we would like anything, again if there is a kids menu that has some regular options.

What foods does you party like? and NOT like? I think we like everything as in burgers, pizza, Mexican, Chinese, seafood, American, Italian, etc.

Looking for help for breakfast lunch dinner, or all 3?? I think we will be eating breakfast in our rooms the majority of the time, but if there is a character restaurant that you would suggest we go for breakfast, we can eat another meal in the room that day. The majority of meals I think we would like is lunch and dinner.

Thanks again!

If I were you, avoid breakfast. I personally have a problem spening alot of money on waffles & yougurt. Go for the dinners! I have 2 kids 10 & 11. The have been to Disney about 4 times now. Some of there favs & must do's are:

Teppen Edu in Japan. They would eat there everynight if I let them! Not just great food, but a good show and you may get everyone at the same table.
They also love Prime Time in DHS- my daughter likes to try & get in trouble there! HInt Hint, if you have't been there, the kids will get a kick out of it. If your in the mood to get your kids in trouble for a good laugh, hand them your cell phone to play with.

Buffets they enjoy are 1900 Park Fare (try for the 4:00 sitting- or an early one), Cape May Cafe- if your a Seafood lover, you'll enjoy that one. It's a nice short walk out the Epcot back gate

Good Luck!

Ohana's at the Poly is a great place for dinner for a large group. They have great food (family style with tons of different meat on skewers) and lots of fun things for the kids to do. Coconut races, parades and other fun things.
I went with a party of 10 (4 kids) and everyone had a great time.

Have a great time. :)

Sounds like a fun trip! And congrats...I've been a high school English teacher for 14 years and am now a Dean of Students...the BEST career choice to make a difference.

'Ohana is great for families! Family style food and come on 'ohana 'means' family!

Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge is fun for kids. I have never been, but people on the boards say so.

Another question is 'are you on the dining plan'? If so..go for all the outrageous places that paying out of pocket for such a large group might be more difficult to do.

Crystal has a great character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and friends at Magic Kingdom. We also eat at Teppen Edo at Epcot. Have a great vacation.

Thank you so much! I am starting a list now, so hopefully I can get everything figured out before my 180 day mark comes.
