OK, been to Epcot several times & have eaten at Coral Reef, LeCellier, Akershus, & in 1994 on my Honeymoon I ate at San Angel Inn but I do not really count this as I really do not remember anything about it except for the Margheritas!!!

So let's not even count that. My question is to all the experts is this....

What do you recommend I try next??

This is my 40th Bday trip so I want it to be special & something I have never tried before, any suggestions...

I really love Rose and Crown Pub and Dining Room. I spent my anniversary last year at Disney and we ended the trip with a meal there. It is my fave, what could be better that a fabulous meal with the one you love with some killer fireworks as the background to your own fireworks!! I also order a cake as a surprise and they brought it out right before the fireworks, it was a really special night. HTH

Bistro de Paris (France, upstairs)
. . . great service
. . . exquisite food
. . . terrific ambiance

Thanks Miniefan!!

I will keep this in mind, sounds like fun. I was contemplating Calif. Grill for this same reason, good food, fireworks, & atmosphere.

I trying to eat at places I have never tried before, just to do something different for a change.

I would love to hear more...

We actually preferred Chefs de France. Of course, when we dined at Bistro we were seated next to a family with two very active and loud toddlers. I really love the food at Chefs de France. We go every visit! Oh and Biergarten was loads of fun and the food was really good.:thumbsup2

Two Suggestions:
I will Second the Vote for Rose & Crown. We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The food is good and if you can get a table outside, it's wonderful!!!
My second suggestion is Restaurant Marrakesh. This is a deal breaker restaurant for me, I have to go there EVERY trip! The beef shish kebabs are wonderful, the belly dancer is entertaining, and it is fun.
:lovestruc

Biergarten or Rose & Crown (even though the fish & chips at their outside stand were better than in the restaurant, imho).

Bistro de Paris is one of the best places on property. Very rare to have children dining there (sorry for the PP who had their experience there ruined by children in what is a normally a very adult and romantic dining environment.)

I don't think there is another Epcot restaurant that compares to this one, especially if you are looking for something "special".

Well we have never dined at Bistro but we tried Chefs De France last trip and I have to say it was very very very good despite some bum reviews it gets. Our whole party said it was the best meal of the trip. That night we had 14 of our grand gathering together and no one was disappointed. Our server was wonderful and gave great suggestions.
