Need help deciding when (&where) to do Rainforest...

I have $50 in gift cards from MyPoints. That is really the only reason we do Rinforest. There used to be one where we live and no one is particularly impressed but Hey! I got a free $50 to spend so we're there. I have an Ap (which means 10% off at the DTD one) and wil have DDE (not sure if it is good at the AK one though). I was thinking that we could do dinner at the Ak one on a PM EMH night but there is not one during our stay. We will be there 5/20-5/24 for SW Weekend. So we will be spending more time than usual at MGM but plan on going to all the parks.

We're trying to figure out where & when to eat at RFC. We don't usually eat a big breakfast on a day that we tour. We'll have nutri-grain bars or maybe just toast and coffee/tea or at AK we usually get cinnamon buns at Tusker House.

Any ideas for using the gift cards?

Just a personal preference but I like the one at DTD better.

I read in the Unofficial Guide that he (the author) gets lots of bad reports about the DTD one but never had a bad report about the AK one.

If it makes your decision easier I do know that the 10% AP discount is available at *both* locations but at different times in each place (see extract below). Neither location is on the DDE list.

I believe I used the Mypoints certs on two occasions, and the lunch vouchers on two occasions over the past few years. I think it is a matter of convenience to be able to eat at the one in AK when you are visiting AK. If you are interested in a late meal, you will need to choose the DTD location. I will be cashing in my Mypoints for this trip as well, but I am trying to choose between the RFC certs and webcerts (to be used towards our resort). I will probably skip the RFC certs this time because we loved the food at Flame Tree when we used Q&C vouchers there last year. I would be content to buy two of the vouchers you can get at AK (I think they are around 12. for an adult) and share the meals amongst the 4 of us (2 AD, 2 CH). I don't know if I can convince DH, though. I think it is a matter of your preference and convenience. I would not go out of my way to eat at the DTD RFC. If you will have a car while you are there, there are so many other options by Crossroads to choose from.
