I can start making my fast passes tomorrow. My first strategy was to make them later in the day so that I could stand by lines when I first got to the parks. Now I heard that we may be able to get more fast passes when we use all of them up. Have they started this yet? I'm going towards the end of June. Any idea if it'll be out by then? I'm not sure when to do the fast passes now. Any opinions on when's best? We don't have park hoppers, so we plan on spending the whole day in the parks. We do have dinner reservations most nights though.

They have not started the extra fast passes as of yet and they have not announced when it will start. I would choose your fast passes now based on your current strategy (standby in morning, FP+ later in the day) just to secure the rides you want and then see what happens as you get closer to your trip.

We are going June 7-21 and I was able to book our FP+ recently. I had the same question as you do. I ended up booking like we would not be able to get the extra FP+ for now. I figured I can go back and change things if they decide to start giving out the extra ones before our trip. Decisions, decisions….

Thank you for the replies! Do you think making them after lunch is a good? Or what time do the lines start getting long? We are going to try for rope drop this trip.

For the tiered parks, I would make the top tier ride earlier - maybe around 11 am. The other ones can be from mid afternoon to early evening. This way, I they implement the new system, you'll probably have no trouble switching the tier 2 FP's to an earlier slot so you can use them all up and get more. If the tier 1 FP is later in the day, you might have trouble moving it....

I can start making my fast passes tomorrow too! I was going to use the same strategy. We didn't get park hopper this time either. Not sure what I am going to do either. I guess it will depend on what is available when I start making the fast passes. Maybe I'll make them late morning and early afternoon, so if they do change it and I can make more after I use my three I will still have plenty of time. Good luck tomorrow!
Sounds like we may be in Disney the same time. What are your dates? Where are you staying?

I just booked mine today and used that strategy, mostly going with early afternoon, except our last day I went with morning. Hopefully we can get more.
