Due to my back injury, we've moved our trip from Aug. 23-28 to Aug. 30-Sept. 4. We're booked at Cabana Bay and already have 4-day PTP tix. My back is getting better, and I think I could handle the trip in 2 weeks. However, my husband thinks it might be better to wait and go in Feb. during President's week.
The last time we were at UO was in Nov. 2013, and it was too cold to swim. Both of my kids love the pools (ages 10 & 14). So if we go now, they'll get to swim. If we wait until Feb., they probably won't be able to go swimming, but on the plus side it will definitely be less hot/humid and less storms.
We got a great rate on our room at Cabana Bay, but looking at pricing for Feb. 2016 Pres. Week, it's going to cost a lot more, especially if we change to one of the onsite hotels that have EP.
Any insight/opinions that would help me make the best decision would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
