Need help deciding how long to stay at DLR!

I am currently planning our DL trip for the week of December 8th. It'll be me, DH, DD-11, DS-8, and DD-4. We had to cancel our last trip due to some family circumstances that came up but this year we are DL or bust!! ha!

The thing is I'm having trouble deciding how long to stay! Neither of us have ever stayed at the DLH and I heard during the Christmas season it is wonderful! We really want to enjoy both parks and take in as much as we can but I'm not sure how much time we'll need! Will 3 days be enough?? Or should I do the 5 day hopper??

I've been reading through here and it's been very helpful in adding to our "must-do" list, but I still can't decide.

Any opinions would help!

Oh, and I should add that we've been to DL before but it was usually spur of the moment & only for a day while in CA for other events/plans so I KNOW we missed a lot! Other than that we both haven't been for more than day since we were kids.

I would suggest 5 days. That should give you enough time to do most everything. I have never been that time of year, but I hear its crazy busy.

Yea I was leaning to 5 days, but thought maybe we could do it in 3 days.... The more we read on here last night the more we leaned to 5 days. Lol

We are going to stay 5 days but we are also going to go ahead and get the AP! DH & I want to be able to go & stay however long, whenever we like, during the year & this way seems like it'll more than pay for itself!

Marvelous decision---you won't regret it! We're in Arizona, and visit numerous times per year(always finding an excuse to come)!
