Need help deciding about DAH in two weeks

DH and I live in the Midwest and currently have a Disney trip planned for October, but really want to go to After Hours since we loved it in March. I found out I don't have to nanny July 19 & 20 so we could take a short weekend trip from July 19-22. After looking at hotel prices, it will either be Sports for $439 or Music for $419. The only problem is we can't find anything decent for plane tickets.

I'm just trying to decide if I should give this trip up or if we should just suck it up and pay the plane ticket prices. The plane trips don't look the best either. We normally fly nonstop with Frontier (which is a terrible airline), but it gets us there faster. Any advice?

DAH is a popular event and will most likely be offered again in the winter and next summer. Spending all of that money for one 3 hour event when you have a trip planned in just 3 months doesn’t seem reasonable IMO.

Thanks for your input. I don’t think we are gonna do it. We are a little sad because we won’t be able to go next year. We are going to Japan and won’t be planning any other trips.

Saving for Japan is worth it!! Totally normal to be bummed... it would be awesome if they extend DAH into October
