We are wanting to go in Nov. 2005. We have gone the week after thanksgiving before but it has been about 4 years since we have done that week. We were also there in 2004 the 2nd week of Nov. the same week as vertern's day. It was busier then it had ever been when we had gone that week after Thanksgiving but I just think the whole month of Nov. has become so much more popular in the last few years! So i am not sure I can really compare those weeks since as I said one of them was 4 years ago!

So I am trying to figure this out and I have pro's and con's for each week just trying to find which would be best!

Week after thanksgiving may still have lingering holiday crowds, cooler temps, maybe the MVMCP may have an effect on the new later evening hours at MK. Oh, and also value season starts Sunday the 27th. but daughter misses 2 more days of school this week.

However, week of 5th-12th has Vertern's day holiday crowds, food and wine crowds (which we aren't interested in doing), and this year it will be Jersey week that week. Last year in 2004 we arrived the week AFTER jersey week, Regular season rates, daughter misses 2 fewer days of school!

Anyone that can give me some advice?? I would love it!! :D

We went the week before thanksgiving this year(2004)(14-19th) and had very low crowds(some rides like teacups, we walked on) Weather was great ect.... I am going the week after thanksgiving this year just so my girls can experience the Mickey Christmas Party(if I can get in to it). Also, I arrive on Monday night and would prefer not to take a 7am flight... the monday after thanksgiving the park is usually open till 9.. so another reason I am switching. The full week before though, was really a great week. MIssed jersey week.. missed veterans day.... great time.

scootch.... thanks for the info i wish i could go that week in Nov. before thanksgiving. However it just won't work with my daughter's school schedule. If it's not one thing it's another!!

Have you thought about the first week of November? We are planning a trip Oct 29- Nov 4. The Christmas decorations won't be up yet, but we will get to see the Halloween decorations. There won't be Jersey week-ers or Veterens Day or Super Soapers to contend with. Halloween might get a bit busy, but we aren't planning on going to MNSSHP. Only big downside I can see is number of school days missed. DD will miss a full week of school- no vacation days or teacher workdays to plan around!
