I'll be travelling with my DW and DD(4). We want to make it special for her and would like to know which themed restaurants are a must. CRT, chef micky's. etc...

After reading a few previous posts, I've found out that we must book 90 days in advance to get PS on most of these.

Any suggestions on which ones are best? CRT, etc..?

Also, we have the disney dining plan, how does that affect it? I think I read somewhere we can trade a couple of the dinings for a themed breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Thanks..

Your DD would probably love eating at the Castle. For this you MUST start calling exactly at the 90 day mark and call early. The castle is very popular and hard to get. I would guess because there is not a whole lot of seating inside (it's been many years since we have been there).
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is also very popluar. I can't give you any advice on the dining plan. Suggest you check out the loads of information on dining, etc. at allearsnet.com

Does your dd have any favorite characters? My kids love Crystal Palace in MK with pooh and all his friends. They also love the buffet, they can pick what they like to eat. They love Prime time cafe in MGM, Cinderella's castle is great too. My dd loves the princesses. :flower: :flower: :flower:

We have 2 dd (5 & 2) and also are on the dining plan. When you make your ps just let them know you have the dining plan and there wont be any charges if you need a cc number.
We will be doing:
CRT- with cinderella
Crystal Palace-Winnie the Pooh
PSB-with princess's at Epcot
Cinderellas Gala feast- 1900 Park Fare at GF
Chef Mickeys- Mickey and friends
Ohana- for a more adult meal, but still fun for the kids
We wanted buffets or family style (2 yr old doesnt like to wait long) and make them all special dinners for the girls

How about the Sci Fi at Disney Studios? It is themed like a drive in theater with seating in actual "cars". We are also going to try Whispering Canyon Cafe and Wilderness Lodge. I have heard that this one is a lot of fun!! :Pinkbounc

TY all for the great ideas. I'm writing them down and will call as soon as it opens up! :goodvibes

I believe it is the Princess Breakfast at Restaurant Akersaus (sp?) in Norway. I apologize, I forgot to see when you are going. My kids have always loved the Garden Grill at the Land in Epcot. I know it is closed for renovation to reopen this summer. The food is wonderful and characters have always been great.

If you are into an interactive meal try the Whispering Canyon at WL. Kids love the stick horse rides and other activities that happen during the dinner. Be sure to have DH say that he is very very thirsty and see what size drink he gets.

Our families favorite is OHana's!!!!! By far. We all love it for different reasons. There is something for everyone. A great time to be had by all.

Thnx....All sound like great ideas! That's the prob. they all sound so good! :)
