Need help choosing a moderate

We (me, DH, DD(21) and DD(16) just decided to forgo Christmas presents to each other this year and plan a trip to WDW. They only time all four of us can go is the May 30 - June 6. We're planning to stay in a moderate this trip and would like your feedback on which one to pick.

Last trip we stayed at CBR and we've also stayed at PO Riverside in the past. We don't mind going back to one of these, but are always up to trying something new.

What do you think of CSR? We'll have a rental car so the farther distance doesn't bother us. Did I read that the Marina will be closed when we'll be there? My DDs like to ride the small boats so that would be a negative.

I have stayed at POFQ and am staying at POR this Christmas. DH and I stayed at CBR for part of our honeymoon (we were going to stay at POR then 1 night at Poly, but got sick and stayed 3 nights at CBR instead). I didn't care for CBR too much - it was so big, and it took forever to get places because of the bus that had to travel through all the stops within the resort. But if you are driving to the parks, that isn't an issue.

I am interested in CSR, too - after this trip, it will be the only mod I haven't stayed in!

Unfortunately, I think you are right and the Marina will be closed when you are there. However, having a car, you could go to one of the deluxes and rent a boat there as they are bigger areas than the ones at the moderates.

We always have a car on vacation (we've stayed at the CSR seven times, number eight next September). It takes about five to seven minutes to drive to the Studios and Animal Kingom, ten minutes to Epcot and about 15 minutes to the MK.

We stayed at CSR Dec. 2007 and enjoyed the resort. We have stayed at all of the moderates. I would try it just so you can have the experience and know if you would want to stay there again. Have a wonderful trip

CSR has always been a favorite of ours. Have stayed several times and will go back without hesitation.

CSR!! Great main pool area, awesome transportation, and terrific food options. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info. CSR now has queen beds in all the rooms and will have club level rooms as of 01/2009!!

Our favorite mod is POR. Have stayed at CBR and CSR. Never stayed at POFQ, but I believe it is the smallest of the mods. It sort of depends on what theming you prefer, and also the food options, and some other things. We loved the food court at POR. Did not care for Pepper Market at CSR or the food court at CBR. We did not eat at any of the sit-down restaurants, only the food courts. Liked the boat transportation from POR to DTD. I thought both CBR and CSR were pretty, but just preferred the theming at POR. I didn't think CSR was as pretty in person as it was in many of the photos I'd seen of it, but it is definately still nice...they all are!

CSR!! I love CSR for the atmosphere, great CM's and the deluxe-lite feel. CSR offers a spa, salon, full menu room service and fitness center not to mention a terrific main pool area and the best transportation that is not shared with any other resort. It's like taking two vacations in one. Queen beds too!

I didn't realize that CSR has queen beds. Hmmmmm this could work. We are family of 5 and we are used to queen sized beds.
