:cloud9: Well, I am on cloud 9 right now. I am helping a friend with her vacation to our home away from home. Since I am not going until January, this will help me get a little Disney fix for now. Here are my questions:

What Cabana is the best to request? Meaning which one is close to the food court, buses and pool?

Any ideas for a good location are always welcome, or your preference. They will appreciate all you help. You guys are as always the best. :cheer2:

Thank You,
Wendi

Martinique and Trinidad North are the sections closest to the main pool, food court, etc.. All of the areas have their own bus stop.

Marinique and Trinidad North are preferred locations costing extra nightly. Jamaica is across the lake and seems to be a favorite of many here. You might want to read the CBR FAQ's listed below.

We stayed in Trinidad North - it was great (we got an unexpected upgrade - don't know how - didn't even ask) :) . We got good use out of our mugs and the staff were fantastic. The bus stop is under reno so we had to use the one at Port Royale last week We were in building #31 so it was just as close to walk to Port Royale. The buses were great - maybe a 10 minute wait was the longest we had.

:cool1: You guys are the best. I am forwarding this information to my friend
right now and that way they can make any requests. Any other tips are
always welcome.

Thanks, Wendi

I left a nice note with the tip for the maid asking that if she had some time my dds would be thrilled with a towel animal - we got back that night and there were seven! We also ate at Shutters - the food was really good - the papaya (sp) salad was fantastic, I had the chicken one night and pork another - very tasty. My DH had the steak / prime rib and it was generous and very tasty. The fridges are a good size - we put in a pint of milk and dozen bottles of water etc. If they can get a grocery stop - go for it. Eating breakfast in our rooms was kind of nice and quiet before heading out (bottles of water in the backpack) and allowed for a nice in room snack at night - there is a microwave at the food court. With two kids towels get used up pretty quickly and they left us two extra everynight.

Tell them to have a blast - it is a really nice quiet resort.

Bluenoser, could you copy and paste your review of CBR in the CBR FAQII thread listed below. I like to have current information for anyone else planning a trip to CBR. Thank you.

If you don't mind me asking, what cabana where you in? Did you like it?
They are looking into watching the video this weekend, that I am loaning her.

Thanks,

Wendi

Just an FYI, At CBR they are called villages not cabanas. Someone might not know what you are talking about if you refer to a cabana.

Wendi, we stayed in Jamaica (building 45) and enjoyed it very much. It was a very short and pleasant walk over the bridge and island to Old Port Royale, and the location was quiet and peaceful. You can be closer to Old Port Royale by staying in Martinique or Trinidad North, but those rooms cost $15 more per night.
