Need Help, Bulk sugar cookie mix..any idea

I bought a big box of sugar cookie mix at Sam's (many individual packages) and my husband THREW THE BOX AWAY! Now I have bags of mix and have no idea what to put in them to make the cookies.. anyone have any clue? TIA!!

Do you remember the brand? If so, you could probably look up the info on their website... Or, make a trip to Sam's Club and take a picture of the box (but don't buy any more!)



I'm sure others will have better ideas.

I do not remember, and I think Sams only sells the mix at Christmas.

You're going to love me...

The sugar cookie mix is Krusteaz and the only thing you add is water, about 1/4 to 1/3 cup per bag. Dough will be stiff. Chill the ball in the fridge for 20 minutes and roll out, or drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

Bake at 350, time varies, roughly 7-8 minutes.

Sandra Lee Semi Homemade to the rescue!!

I bought the mix at Sam's because of Sandra Lee!! I made the best cookies this Christmas and it was SOOOoooo easy!!

thumbprint cookies, sugar cookies...

1 pkg dry sugar cookie mix
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1T vanilla extract
3/4 c flur for dusting work surface.

1 preheat oven to 350 in bowl mix cookie mix, cream cheese, then add egss, and vanilla till combined

2. turn dough out onto a work surface and knead in up to 1 cup flour till dough is firm enough to roll out (or recipe variations pgs 122, 124, 133) stop at this point to proceed to the desired recipe..

or
3. On a lightly floured surface roll dough to 1/4in thickness cut out desired shapes, place cookies 2in apart on ungreased sheet and bake for 8 min...

I got my box at Costco, but it is from Crhistmas time and it is Betty Crocker. There are recipes for several different types of cookies. The bags are clear plastic (like a cake mix) and all require eggs. I will post all the recipes if this would be helpful.

Drop Cookies
Heat oven to 375

Stir cookie mix, 1/2 cup melted butter and 1 egg in a meduim bowl until soft dough forms.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet

CutOut Cookies

Stir cookie mix, 1/3 cup melted butter, 1 egg and 2 tablespoons flour in a medium bowl until soft dough forms. Roll dough on lightly floured surface until 1/4 inch thick. Cut with 2 inch cookie cutter and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake either (drop or cut out ) cookies for 7 to 9 minutes on shiny metal sheet or 6 to 8 minutes on dark or nonstick sheet, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool one minute before removing from sheet. Cool completely, store in airtight container.

These are the basic recipes. There is also Spritz, Candy Cane, Rasberry thumbprint, and Holiday Snickerdoodle cookie recipes. If you would like these let me know.
