Need help: best plan for attack for adding a sixth

I have a reservation for 4 nights in October (14 to 18th) - 1 bedroom at SSR for the 5 of us. My wife and 3 kids with my youngest son on an air mattress. My nephew who is 24 is possibly looking to join us. I can find literally nothing online in the 2 bedroom or up size. I can not find a deluxe studio for he and my son at SSR.

Do I waitlist something? I can get a room at Allstars for 124 a night which I could put my two daughters (oldest is 19) who are extreme park veterans plus we have a car. The points for a deluxe studio is 62 - so the math on the Allstars room is not bad either

Have you looked within the last hour or two? There were a number of places now showing availability in Oct (sadly not for the dates I want) but there's more available than just a day or two ago.

Otherwise, yes, the waitlist. Book the Allstars as a backup but waitlist the studio or 2BR. If you book room only as long as you cancel at least 5 days in advance you will receive your deposit back which means you can leave your waitlist working up until 7 days before check in.
