Ok. I've been reading all these posts about Universal being strict about bags on rides and having to use lockers. I have a different sort of question. My mom has MS and uses a wheelchair to get around. Se will be going on some of the rides though. Would it be possible to just keep our bag on the wheelchair while we ride? I'm fairly certain I remember that at universal the chair goes through most of the lines and we leave it when we get on. Do you think it would be safe to leave the bag with the chair? Thanks for any help you can offer. If anyone has an other tips or hints about getting around universals with a wheelchairs ill take any help I can get. It's been a few years since we've gone and the first time I'm trying it as the only other adult in the group.

Most of the rides the require lockers are roller coasters. I'm not sure what your Mom is able to ride but it may be a non issue.

The rides that require lockers are Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Rip Ride Rockit, Mummy (all coasters), Men in Black (she might like this one) and Forbidden Journey (might be too much for her as well.)

Can you give a bit of information about what she likes to ride at Disney if you have been there?

For the last 2 years my wife has used a wheelchair at the parks, she can walk
just not a all day theme park walk. She rides just about everything never had a issue with leaving the chair with bags and all at any ride. A tm will take the chair
and move it to where you will exit, which has a tm there also. I seen many others do the same.

it is not secure to leave a bag or your belongings on a wc and then leave for a ride.

the TM's won't be able to watch your bag while you are gone.

My mom will be riding some of the roller coasters so it will be an issue at some of the that require you to leave your bags. Thank for the advice so far. I appreciate it.

If there are valuables in the bag, I'd just use the lockers. Universal can't take responsibility for stuff that goes missing.

I guess we have been lucky, actually the wheelchairs are not near where guests
get off the ride ,they are to the side, kinda where you would not go after exiting the ride. I've never had anything taken from me and hope the same for everyone else. People are generally honest, but there are those few that slip thru.

We have never had a problem at disney or any other parks we've been to. I just decided to ask since I have seen so many threads about the lockers at universal. I think that most people are honest and I guess once you get burned you stop believing that.
