Hi everyone,
My dh and I are bringing our twins who will be almost 3 in September (18th - 22nd). We are taking the autotrain, so we will have our car on property (staying at AKL). We are going to MK on two different days. I have dinner reservations booked for 1900 Park Fare (GF) and Concourse Steakhouse (Contemp), both at around 6pm. If we decide to use Disney transportation, when we get back to the MK around 7:30pm, do you think getting back to AKL will take forever? What time do the nightime festivities end. I think one night the park closes at 8pm and then 9 pm. I'm just concerned will be waiting for a bus forever. Thanks for any advice, Linda

P.S. What time do you suggest getting to the MK in the am? We'll be there until dinner time, so don't want to tire the kids out too much. Thanks

When our kids were three, a whole day in the parks would have been too much. While it is true that the parks should not be too crowded at the tome of your visit, I would still recommend trying to go the MK close to opening when it is least crowded and spend 4-5 hours. You could then go back to AKL for lunch, a swim and nap for the kids and drive your car to your dinner reservations. Since you have dinner reservations, you can park at the Contemorary and GF and you will get back to your hotel fast and easy.
