Need help- Additional driver-National

I have a ressie booked with National, compact car using disney club codes. I do have EA however I wasn't able to book with it because the car is a compact.

My question is if you have EA the additional driver fee is waived for a spouse. Am I still able to do this at the counter if I give them my EA card at that time? I really don't want to pay extra for an additonal driver,we are on a budget and got a awesome rate for the car so I don't want to tinker around trying to modify it.
Any advice on this???

I also have a ressie with Dollar they are 20.00 less than national but I know they charge a addtional driver fee so I probably won't use them if I know things can pan out at National.

Emerald Aisle service is just one of the benefits of Emerald Club Membership. Here is another (info copied from National's web site):

Authorized Drivers
Free (in the United States and Canada) – An Emerald Club members spouse, business partner, employer, or fellow associate who has an assigned corporate contract with National and drives the car for business purposes.

All other additional authorized driver situations are subject to a daily charge

Since you are an Emerald Club member, your spouse is authorized to drive the rental for no extra charge. This benefit doesn't have anything to do with Emerald Aisle service, so it doesn't matter if you are renting a compact. Just show them your EC membership card and tell them that your spouse will also be driving occasionally.
