Need help adding pictures and links?

Hi, I am sorry, I am technologically challenged (even if I do work for a major computer corporation) -- how the heck do you add pictures to your threads? Or links from one section to another? I feel so dumb :-(. Thanks!

I use Picasa, but some people use Photobucket to upload their pictures. Then, you copy the picture's URL, click on the button on your post toolbar that looks like a landscape and paste the URL in the box!

Thank you, how does Picasa work? For some reason when I upload a Photobucket link, I get nothing :-(. I guess people were not meant to see what DF and I look like !

Hmm. I've never used Photobucket, so I can't speak to that, but here's what I do for Picasa:

Google "Picasa Web Albums". Either log in with google username or make a new one. Upload your photos. Right click the image and select "copy image URL." Paste that URL to your posts add image box!

Just for future readers' reference, with Photobucket you don't need to click the button and enter code in a popup box because the code already contains the tags you need (which are

). Simply copy the line of IMG code Photobucket provides for the photo and paste it right in with your text.
