1) Best CS Breakfast at Epcot

2) Opinions about Fantasmic Dining Package

Thanks!!!!

1. Boulangerie Patissiere-French pastry shop (in France obviously).
There are a couple of tables inside the little store at the exit of the pastry shop and some outside in the courtyard.

2. I did this dinner package years ago before the DDP made it difficult to get. It was ok, but I don't think that I would do it again.
The good, if you are having a TS dinner anyway in the park, you might as well do this and you don't HAVE to use the fantasmic seating if you don't want to.
the other good thing (i don't think they still have this) is that we got to walk in a separate line off to the side kinda the same as fastpass and buck the waiting in line.

The bad, you still have to be there super early to claim your reserved spot. So, you still really have to wait a long time. Also, the reserved seating area is off to the top right side. I really didn't like the show from this angle. I saw the show again from sitting in the middle section. COMPLETELY different show for me and so much better.
If they are showing 2 shows, the second show you can almost always just walk in with no wait at all and sit wherever.
Even if i had the special seating. I would go in and see if I could sit in the normal area if seats were available.

So, it kinda just depends on what your priorities are and what works for you.
Good show, yep. I'd wait like I would for a normal ride to go to it.
But, I'm not going to wait 90 minutes even with the special pass.
I'm not calling every day at 7am to try and get a reservation either.
But I've seen it several times and also at Disneyland and it's not the priority for me to schedule my evening around.

I thought as much about the Fantasmic package. Skipping the line would be the only reason I would want to do this one.

As far as the counter service breakfast at Epcot, do you know what you would get with the dining plan?

And thanks so much!!!

From what I understand it is similar to going to the bakery at mainstreet.
I haven't done the dining plan there, but it seems to be 1 savory, 1 sweet and 1 or 2 drinks. Or 2 sweets and 1 or 2 drinks.

For breakfast you are supposed to be able to get 1 drink and 1 juice (2 drinks) for your credit since you aren't getting a 'desser' like when you do a lunch or dinner CS meal. But, since Disney doesn't actually give clear details to the customers or the Cast members, it just depends on who is helping you.

So the potential is to be able to get a ham and cheese croissant and a pastry plus a drink or 2 or 2 pastries and a drink or two.
Keep in mind that this is a very economical location for disney dining.

So paying out of pocket for a pastry and a drink for each person would only run you around $5 each. Pastries are in the $3 range and Drinks in the $2.50 range.

The good news is, it's a CS, NO ADR NEEDED!
So, when you get there, ask what you can have and see if it's a good value or you should just pay a couple dollars.

you can also use a snack credit for a pastry or croissant there (no drink with it) so that can also be a way to go depending on what credits you have available. It seems to be the same as going to the mainstreet bakery for options and what you can get for your credits.

I hope this helps and I hope that Disney doesn't change everything tomorrow....every day it seems they are changing dining plan options lately.
Enjoy your trip.
Regardless of how you pay, I really recommend the French pastry shop.

Delicious pastry is the "marvelous"....light cake bottom with a center that is like a big rum ball and then piled up with chocolate butter cream frosting on top....very rich, great for sharing.

We have done the Fantasmic package twice and have liked it. Not having to stand in line and wait and also the reserved seating they have. This way you can wait and spend more time on rides.

Hi,

Ok the best CS breakfast we found in epcot is at Sunshine Seasons in The Land in epcot, then you can jump right on Soarin' or grab those fastpasses for later in the day, can't get any better right? As for the fantasmic package, we did it once, and decided nope never again. Really fantasmic is not that bad to get into, and in all honestly we had better seats when we did not do the package for when we did, and then you are not tied down to a certain restaurant and time, and what not. We have not had to wait in line before it opens, it is a huge ampitheatre...you will be fine. Anyways, just throwing this out there as well if you have DDP, and want to spend 2 table services on Brown Derby, then yes, but if you do have it but do not want to spend 2, then do not do it, H&V is not that great...and Mama Melrose is meh....not a fan...so i would just skip it, save the time of having to eat way early, and lose park time...
