I am sure this has been asked a million times, so please forgive me as my search function doesn't want to work today. I need help deciding on a character breakfast. We are staying 3 nights during free dining period. I will be travelling with my DD4 and my friend and her DD4. Right now I have lined up 1900 Park Fare for dinner and Princess Storybook Dining for another dinner. Anyways I need some suggestions for a character breakfast. What is your favorite non princess character meal? Thanks!

Cape May Cafe at Beach Club is my favorite. Chef Mickey's is also good.

I didn't like Donald's--the characters were rushed and the food was only fair.

I really liked the Restrauntsarus in AK. It is the only one with Donald. It is a buffet and offers hot and cold food. Many others bring you food that is usually cold and the sausage is these huge things that are like a brautwurst and horrible.

We tried Ohanah at the poly and didn't really like it and have done the Akerhaus breakfast at EPCot and didn't like the food.

Crystal Palace is our favorite character breakfast. If you can get an ADR for the earliest seating (8:05 am) you get to walk down a practically empty Main Street. There are lots of great photo ops with no extra people in them. The breakfast lasagna is yummy
We also enjoy the Cape May breakfast -- it doesn't seem to get as loud as other character breakfasts.

My favorite is 1900 Park Fare with friends from the 100 Acre Wood, Alice iN Wonderland and Mary Poppins. I see that you are already dining there for dinner - but it was excellent food and characters...

We have done most of the character breakfasts in the past 3 months in order of favorite - but not realy disliking any of them:

Cape May Cafe - Beach Club (Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy- Buffet) - I found this one quieter and a more relaxing experience)
Chef Mickey
Donald's at AK

We've also done PSB and CRT. CP for dinner - loved it - plan to do Breakfast soon!

Enjoy and have fun!

You won't go wrong with Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, or Cape May IMHO we love all 3 for breakfast

My daughter will be three? She wants to see a princess. Which one would be best :cheer2:

We did princess storybook with my DD(then 3) in March and she loved it. I haven't done CRT but I think the one in Epcot may have more princesses?? (There should be at least 4 or 5 at Epcot) Although Cinderella may not be there. She wasn't there when we went, but my dd really wanted to see Jasmine so that was okay for us.

Is the princess breakfast or dinner better in Epcot? I was thinking dinner that way she could dress up and then we could watch Illuminations and then head back to the room after. If we did breakfast - I would think we have to carry her dress around all day rather than wasting time going back to the room? :confused3

I was kinda leaning towards Chef Mickeys - until I heard they don't start seating until 10am? I kinda hate to go into the parks only to come back out again - or is it a pretty quick trip into MK - then maybe I should move this to a lunch? Decisions, Decisions, Decisions...

Chef Mickey opens at 7:00am most mornings Maybe whoever told you 10am was talking about the earliest ADR they could get and not opening time?

BTW: My boys loved CM for dinner and this year we're doing breakfast there (At 8am)

Don't forget that MGM has the new Playhouse Disney breakfast with JoJo & Goliath and June & Leo from the Little Einsteins. The 4-year-olds may like that. We booked ours earlier this week and can't wait for my daughter to see JoJo. She'll be so excited. I think the breakfast begins in June. It is at Hollywood & Vine. My boys are older so they weren't interested, so my DH is taking my DD and I'm doing something else that morning with the boys.

Sometimes we book the last seating for breakfast and make it our lunch. We love breakfast food at any time of day! The characters have also spent a lot of time with us.

You can't go wrong with Chef Mickey's .. this will be our third time! We have a 8:10 am reservation.

Crystal Palace!

I made ADRs for both CP and Chef Mickeys for our free dining trip. Everyone seems to think CM is a great meal so I'm going to try it. I honestly can't imagine it can hold a candle to CP though. The menu at CP is so much more interesting. It was some of the best food I've ever had, despite the fact that it came off of a buffet.
