I'm looking for ideas to make fun shaped cookies or candies for a kids Christmas party. I had a recipe to make reindeer out of pretzels and some kind of candy but I can't find it. I plan to make the cornflake wreaths but I need a couple of other options. Any ideas?

Make rice krispie treats, cut into shapes, dip in chocolate or frost and add sprinkles. Easy and yummy. You could also put them on sticks to make into lollipops.

For Girl Scouts last year we decorated snowman cookies. We just used store bought plain sugar cookies (Publix will sell them to you undecorated if you ask.) We used white frosting, M&Ms for eyes, licorice and life savers for ear muffs, chocolate chips for mouth, etc. I found it in a magazine think. maybe you could find a picture online.

Yesterday both of my daughters did the milk carton gingerbread houses at their school party - you use a small school size milk carton for the base then use frosting to attach graham crackers (just makes it sturdier than trying to do it without the carton) - then go to town decorating with all sorts of candy.

Michaels sells a kit of gingerbread men cookies. It comes with everything you need - gingerbread men, icing, candies. There are 8 in the box and the box was $8.99.

I'm having a holiday party tomorrow and I bought these to help keep the kids occupied for awhile.
