My DS and his DGF arrive at terminal A, flying SW, and need to get to the ME counter. Neither have flown into MCO since they were children years ago so really have no recollection of the place(other than the 'monorail'). What are the easiest directions to get them over to Terminal B to ME counter?

I got this info from DIS before:

When you get off the plane, you will head to the shuttle monorail that connects the gate areas to the main terminal. Then, when you get off, head to Side B of the terminal. Take the escalator/elevators down to level 1 (you'll arrive on level 3, baggage claim in on level 2). DME is located down at the end of level 1, Side B, past the car rental counters.

When they get off the Tram, pass the security area, they will see big A and B signs. The B sign should be to their left. Take the escalator under the B down, I think it only goes to level 2, they will have to look for another escalator or elevator down to level 1, it should be close. Then follow the signs.

When you exit security and come out into the open, you are about halfway between the A and B sides. Southwest passengers face left for the B side.

I think the elevators go all the way to level 1. (Never rode them, though) Stepping out of the B side elevator, face left and go down the corridor (windows to the outside at your left).

The above posts are correct, however if your DS needs to pick up checked luggage then after he exits the train and enters the main terminal then he needs to go to his rights and down to the baggage claim level to claim luggage, then back up to the main level, walk straight across the terminal and back down to the luggage claim on that level then like the others said, turn right and go to the end to get to ME. We usually fly SW and have to do it this way, its a slight hassel but really not that bad a walk.

THey will take the tram from the gate area to the main terminal. When they get off the terminal, they will pass the security area. They are now headed to the main area of the terminal. The question now will be....is there checked luggage to get, or have you allowed DME to deal with it?

If there is checked luggage, tag it with the yellow DME tags...then there is no need to go down to baggage claim. If, for some reason, that isn't an option and it is decided that checked luggage will be claimed, they will have to go down to level 2 of Side A (they arrive on level 3) to baggage carousels. Then once the bags are retrieved, they go back up to level 3, then cross through the main area of the terminal...they just have to look up and they will see the bright neon Side B signage above them. Head for that sign.

I take the escalator down to level 2 (Side B baggage claim) and then take the elevator down to level 1 (ground transportation). The escalator I take down doesn't continue down to level 1. There is another escalator further down if they prefer that to the elevator.

When they get to level 1, they will see the buses arriving on one side, and car rental counters on the other side. Head down to DME, all the way to the end of that area....they are after the car rental counters and Mears counter. They will be on the right side as you walk down...same side as the car rental counters.

It is very easy to find. If they get turned around, they just have to ask. Everyone that works at MCO pretty much knows where DME is.
