Need experts' advice

We are booked for the end of October using a PIN that expired in July. My children's school changed their calendar and now my children are off in Nov (11th,12th) instead of October. My wife and children think we should change our trip to start on the 12th for 7 nights. My original PIN offer did include these dates but when I called Disney, the CM said it didn't matter I could not change the dates. The CM did try some other PIN but could not find any availability. I asked the CM to speak to guest services but the CM insisted nothing could be done. I gave up with the CM and was able to book 4 nights at the GF using the fall sale and 2 nights at the Poly (Nov 13th -19th). Our original reservation was for 7 nights at the GF at 40% off - not the 30% off offered now. We would really like 7 nights at the GF like we had origanally planned. Does anyone have any advice? I did not cancel my original reservation hoping that somehow the dates could be changed. There just doesn't seem to be availability on the 12th at any monorail resort.

We are traveling to WDW this November on a bounceback from our stay last November. I have made many, many alterations to our reservation since the offer has expired. I have had to talk to guest services each time, but they've always been able to help me. I don't have experience with your specific PIN, and perhaps your specific offer can't be modified. But I wouldn't take that CM's word for it - I think you're right to talk to guest services.

I now answer yes to the "more than 8 people" question in the automatic system, and that gets me directly to guest services, as they also handle Grand Gatherings. Maybe this would work for you, too?
