Going to wdw 1/1/04, for 5 or 6 nights. What will the post new year week crowds be like? We were set for AK, but now wife and dd want to go babk to GF; is a split stay unreasonable for 5 or 6 nights? 1/1/04 is a Thurs., I was thinging Gf for 3 nights and Ak for final three. Which days will be most crowded this week(or in general), thus does this split make sense? Thanks

The crowds after New Year the week that your going will be much lighter then the week of 12/25 - 1/1. As far as your split stay....it makes sense to me. But I have always enjoyed split stays. It allows us to try more of the resorts. During a weeks stay we'll stay five nights at the BCV, one night at another Disney Resort and either one or two nights at a Universal Resort. If your family doesn't mine moving during your stay....why not split?
