Need everyone's help on changing my vacation!:(

I have posted before about possibly cancelling our trip due to MIL's illness and recent hospitalization. Well, she has gotten much worst and we cannot possibly enjoy ourselves next week when we are riding this terrible ICU roller coaster. The problem is, I have studied and studied and I wanted to go when it is the LEAST CROWDED with not HOT weather at all. If we wore pants, no big deal, but the crowds are an issue with my 4 year old. Anyway, I picked December because of this. Well, I originally was going to go in May but my mother passed away. We DESPARTlY need this vacation, please help me to attempt to plan it for the third time. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Everyone has been so wonderful on this board! Suggestions would be for a "good" period of time to go.

First and foremost, my prayers go out to your family.


As far as going when it is not too busy, my cousin and his wife took their two small children this May. He said the longest they waited in line for a ride was 15 minutes. Sounds like a good time to go to me!!!

We always go the first week of February. The temps are pretty comfortable - even cold at night. However, there have been cheerleading/dance competitions during that week and we have waited up to an hour to ride certain rides.
