For various reasons I have gained quite a bit of weight (probably 25lbs i'm afraid to get on the scales
) in the past year. I wasn't been able to work out due to a foot injury and working long hours. Needless to say, now I am really mad at myself for gaining so much.
I am re-joining WW and need the extra encouragement to stick with it. What better way than on DIS
How do you keep the momentum going in the weeks you don't lose or slip? I seem to always get frustrated and give up. Help!

The best advice someone gave to me was to find success in every day - whether it is being 100% OP, drinking all your water, eating your 5 fruits/veggies, exercising, losing inches, clothes fitting better, or stopping a binge before you eat the fridge - whatever you did today, you were successful at something - write that down, and don't go to bed thinking you failed. Every day is a new chance to stick with the program. Also, reward yourself for smaller successes - choose to give yourself a gold star on the calendar for every day you exercised, or $1 in the shopping spree bank for every day you got all your veggies in - the rewards don't have to be weight based. You control what you eat and how much you move - losing weight is really up to your body. Finding success away from the scale often kept me from getting discouraged on those maintain or gain weeks. You are so worth the effort - you can do this!!!!
