I listed my first auctions this weekend. My first contact from a buyer has asked me this morning if I will ship to Canada and how much it will cost. I have no idea how to calcute this. What do I do? The item is a Columbia 3in1 winter ski jacket that I have already listed $10 shipping for US sales.

If you can estimate the weight you can go to the USPS website (www.USPS.??? com I think) and it will give you a quote. You need an address for a good estimate. It is not that expensive to mail to Canada so it shouldn't end up being too bad.

Go to The US Post Office Website .

Click on the Calculate Postage link in the red bar at the top.

Click the "Go" button under the "Calculate International Postage" heading.

Click on Package.

Select "Canada" from the drop down menu.

Enter the weight (approx.) of the package, including packing materials.

Click the "Continue" button.

This will bring up a variety of shipping methods and their costs.

Don't forget than when you sell to Canada, there will be customs forms to fill out at the post office.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I'm so excited to have my first possible sale!!! :hyper:
