we are headed to disneyland in 60 days from today!!! going with some friends so we wrote down places we wanted to eat, but i still need another idea. We are doing Blue Bayou, Goofys Kitchen, and Wine Country Trattoria.
What other places to people recommend? We loved the Big Thunder BBQ but it is no longer :(

Cafe Orleans is our favorite place and we eat there on every trip! Carnation Cafe is nice too as is Plaza Inn for their fried chicken!

Also in DTD we love Jazz Kitchen!

If you really liked the ribs at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, then I would consider giving the River Belle Terrace a try. They have ribs (not all you care to eat, but the plate comes with 6 ribs and two sides) and I think taste pretty similar to the ones that used to be served at the BBQ.

I also really like Cafe Orleans, and especially recommend the Pommes Frites and Gumbo! The only drawback to Cafe Orleans is that most of the seating is outdoors, so it can be weather dependent (i.e., if it's raining they might close). I also very much like Carnation Cafe. It features a more "comfort food" type of menu. The Loaded Baked Potato Soup, Fried Dill Pickles, and Meatloaf are my favorite items. In DTD, I second the recommendation for Jazz Kitchen. The Bourbon Street sampler is very good, as are the shrimp & grits! In the hotels, I really like Storytellers (dinner buffet). It has a nice wide assortment of items.

I think you've got me convinced. I have a Blue Bayou reservation, which we've done before. I think I'm finally ready to cancel it and take everyone to the Jazz Kitchen instead. With great GF option for the wife and the beignets for me and the kids, I think it's worth a ride on the monorail over there.

Count me in as another fan. Love the Jazz Kitchen. Never been disappointed there.

Love catal and Uva bar in DTD.

Plaza inn at DL.

Paradise garden grill and carthay circle in DCA.

You can't go wrong with anything in the DLH or GCH.

I've also heard the PCH grill in the PP hotel is a yummy dinner buffet.

Figment mentioned the shrimp and grits at Brennans and now my mouth is watering. And the Ya Ya Gumbo. Oh my that is good.

Is the storytellers dinner buffet different than the Goofys kitchen buffet? Don't wanna eat the same
Things twice

We love Cafe Orleans. Definitely one of the go-tos now. Also, I generally like both of the Mexican restaurants. It's actually pretty good Mexican considering it's counter service in a theme park.

I've done Goofy's Breakfast, but then we tried Minnies and do that one now.

Carnation Cafe is always a good choice. Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA is good for lunch. Their salads/soups in breadbowls are so tasty! We like Goofy's and Minnie's breakfast at the Plaza inn is awesome too!
