NEED Dog Fence help!!!

April, can you set up a tie out or some kind of cable until you get the electronic fence dealt with? I lost my dog a few months ago when he got out of our fenced yard and was hit by a car. I wouldn't want your family to go thru that.

No, i'm at work, and DH usually goes to work sometime after lunch. So there's that time in between that no one is there. He can't stay in the house when no one is there.

Keeping my fingers crossed that DH figures something out today. He's getting pretty irratated about the whole situation. He feels helpless.

Do you not have a crate to put this dog in? No way would I be keeping a huge mastiff outside in the yard while I'm not home! That is just a lawsuit waiting to happen (no flames--I'm sure your dog is the sweetest thing in the world, but if he accidently hurts someone, you're toast. My 80yo neighbor was knocked down by an overly friendly golden retriever in her own front yard. she spent 9wks in rehab with a broken hip)
