Need Disney Music for Wedding Reception

My son is getting married in July. He is trying to compile approximately 1-1/2 hours of Disney music to be played at the reception just before and during dinner.

They are doing a sort of "hidden Mickey" theme and I mentioned it would be nice to have Disney songs (preferably instrumentals) playing during dinner. If people noticed it was Disney--great! If not, just came off as the typical dinner music.

So he's put me in charge of finding all the music we'll need. So I'm looking to my friends here to help this Mom out.

It doesn't necessarily have to be just instrumentals. Any soft, quiet songs would be fine. I was thinking some songs from Beauty & Beast, Mermaid, etc. You know--all the love songs! My daughter would love the music from Wishes but I'm not sure we can find one with good enough quality to burn to this CD to play.

So if anyone has any suggestions, links, etc. I would very much appreciate it!

There is a great Disney Wedding CD that is sold in regular stores (you do not have to get it from Disney). Almost all of it is instrumental and would be great background music. I purchased mine at my local supermarket (in their DVD/music/book section. I am sure you can also get it online if you can't find it.

I just found this on ebay and there are more listed.

There's also Jim Brickman's "Disney Songbook" CD where most of the tracks are Disney songs done in Jim's new age piano style. (there are a couple of vocal tracks on it as well). We used the instrumental tracks for "the guests are seated for the ceremony" music.

That is a great CD also. We have it and used some of the music for our Epcot ceremony.

If you go to srsounds.com, they play all disney music all day. While you're listening you can click on the song title and it will link you to websites that sell the cd with that particular song. It has a ton of different songs on there, many of them are really nice instrumentals from around WDW. HTH

This year a new CD was released - The Ultimate Disney Love Song Collection.

If you use iTunes, you're in luck! You can find several GREAT CD's, including the ones mentioned above:

- Disney Fairytale Weddings
- Disney Songbook by Jim Brickman
- The Disney Love Songs CD

As well as my personal favorite:

- Disney Standards by Steve Tyrell (The guy who sings "The Way You Look Tonight" from Father of the Bride)

I think your best bet is the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings CD- available on Amazon or iTunes. They are instrumentals that some people (Disney Fans) will recognize.

Hope this helps!
