Need Discount For Rental Car

well, it doesn't look like DH will be able to get my car fixed before i have to drive out of town thursday to my dr.'s appointment, so i'll need to rent a car, just for 1 day. we have a local rental place that looks kind of shady and an enterprise rent-a-car. i've searched, but didn't see any enterprise coupons that apply. anyone have or know of a discount code or coupon? (i'm sure my MIL would let me borrow her car, but it would put almost 200 miles on her car, and i REALLY hate to ask.)

thank you i checked there, and the only codes/coupons are for a weekend rental or a $1.99 per gallon refuel. i guess if you need a car on a weekday, you're stuck. i know a guy who's a salesman at a local hyundai dealership, maybe he could rent me one of their loaners for a day.

If you have AAA try booking through them. So call the rental agency directly. I recently rented through ENterprise and had the manager tell me she would match any competitors price

thank you! i hadn't considered AAA! unfortunately, it looks like they're exclusive with hertz, and there's no hertz office here. darn, that probably would've saved me some money!

looks like that car rental isn't going to be necessary! DH has brought my car home from his parents' garage, and he says it's FINALLY fixed! OH HAPPY DAY! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME!

and i have to add, i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my husband! it took him over a week and a half, but bless him, he got it fixed!

Gratz on getting it fixed...I had to rent a car for 2 days as well, but I have the advantage of renting from the airport...Only costing me $35 a day from Dollar...who knew they were so cheap!

thank you i wish we had an airport, but we're a very small city, and i didn't realize there were so few car rental options until i needed one, lol. poor DH was under terrible pressure to get it fixed-even with the snowfall we got yesterday, he had to go back to work today.
