I just got a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast in May. I got an 8:30 ADR for 2 adults, 1 child. The price includes a portrait package. My questions are: Does this mean 1 package per person, or one per group? Is 8:30 a good time? What time are the earliest ADR's that you can get? How long does the whole thing take, start to finish? Do they take the pics before or after breakfast? (I would worry about spills on the little one's dress if we eat first!) The CM said to allow plenty of time to get there; what time should we go? What time does transport start? We will be onsite but don't know where yet.
I'm a first-timer, can you tell? :teeth:

I believe the new meal format with photo doesn't
begin until February 1st, 2006.

Earliest seating times are 8:05, I believe - could be 8:00, but I've never had a seating earlier than 8:05..

The number of photo packages will depend on the size of your party - I think it's one package for party of four or less, two packages for parties of up to eight. So in your case, a single package.

Figure from the time you head upstairs to eat, it will take about 50 minutes, though I've been known to stay for over an hour. Since the photo with Cinderella is a new thing, hard to say how long that part will take. (It will, though be taken before you go up, since the package will be delivered to your table during the breakfast.)

As for transportation - you are staying in a Disney resort, right? If so, I would say you want to be at the bus stop to catch a Magic Kingdom bus by 7:30 or so - that allows time for waiting for the bus to arrive. Maybe a bit earlier if it's a far-away resort such as Pop or AK Lodge.

When we had lunch at CRT in November, they were doing a dry run with the photo thing. Cinderella was in the lobby, and before lgoing upstairs unch we were directed to see Cinderella for pictures. As a nice perk to teh dry run, we got two free 4 x 6's with Cinderella. No photo package at that time, but I guess that is whatthey were practicing for.

We just did this last week and had an 8:25 seating on Monday morning. It was a great time to go. We got pictures on Main Street with no one else on it. We left our resort about 7:30 as travel by bus takes a while. I would reccomend leaving a few mins. earlier at about 7:15, because we felt a bit rushed. We checked in at the counter at 8:25 and they took us right to a line in the next room to wait for picutres with Cinderella. There were maybe 4 families in front of us. After having pictures and making our own we headed upstairs in the round elevator (cool) and they seated us right away. We had a great waiter who was lots of fun. There was fresh fruit on the table and a basket of muffins and breads. Yummy. It was DD's 7th birthday so the table was decorated with mickey confetti. They brought her out a certificate signed by all the Princesses there. The preplated food was delecious. Adults had bacon, eggs, sausage, potato casserole, and a pastry with blueberries on top. DD7 got bacon, eggs and french toast sticks. Everything was delecious and filling. We did not ask for more as we were stuffed. Would love to do this again next trip, but cant see paying the increase. They came by the table before we were done to see if we wanted to buy the pictures they took, but were too expensive so we declined. Our waiter had the 2 tables next to us sing happy birthday to our DD. That was fun for her. Character interaction was good with the Princesses, except Belle didnt come over to our table and we had to ask for her. Once she got there she said "hello again" so she must have thought she had been- but she hadnt.
