I want "Santa" :santa: to give the kids the tickets for disney. We are going in May. But, of course I wont have the "actual tickets". Does anyone have any creative ideas for how to give it to them? They are 9 (boy) & 6 (girl)

TIA,
Nikki

LOL! My name is Nikki too and we are also giving our kids a trip for xmas. We are going in March. I went to the Disney store and got a big Mickey and a big donald stuffed animal. I also ordered the customized maps, autograph book and a lanyard for our room keys.

I am going to have it all sitting under the tree when they wake up!

My 3 year old won't understand, but my almost 6 year old will be so super excited.

Last year when we booked it they had a deal where Mickey Mouse called your house on xmas morning. It was really cool and my kids were so excited. I cried when the phone call came through! LOL!

That is a great idea, Nikki. I need to check out disney.com. Might get them a fanny pack. And Santa is bring them some disney dollars to my mom's. (:santa: fills stocking over there too)

We did a scavenger hunt last Christmas to surprise our kids. It really turned out great. We gave disney gifts at each clue to hopefully lead them to the conclusion of the gift. They didn't figure is out until the very last clue! They loved it!

We are not going until Jan 2010. Kids know that we are going but not when. I am going to pack in secret. They also do not know where we are staying, CR. DH and I are going to put on Mickey Ears and wake them up when we go to get on the plane. So total surprise until the moment we leave:yay:

I love the idea of a giant box under the tree for each: when they open it up, a Mickey Mouse balloon floats out, with an invitation to WDW from Mickey attached.

Maybe Santa will bring a Mickey Mouse waffle iron so you can have Mickey waffles for breakfast!!!

As pp mentioned, a scavenger hunt w/mickey gifts at every clue could be a lot of fun too!

Don't forget to order the planning DVD and pick up some guide books so you can daydream as a family about your trip!

We bought DD a personalized princess luggage set and put that in a treasure chest. We told her that Tinkerbell had been there during the night and left it.

But the treasure chest idea would be great for boys who love pirates, too -- especially if you're doing things like the pirate cruise, or staying at the pirate-themed rooms at Disney.

You could fill the treasure chest with anything -- Disney stuffed animals, toys, park maps, etc., etc.
