Need cookie recipe

Lemon Drop cookies; you make them with crushed lemon drop hard candy, which adds a stronger sweet lemon flavor. http://www.bluebonnetsandbrownies.com/2013/04/17/lemon-drop-cookies-recipe/ (That recipe doubles the butter; I use the original amount.)

When I want to make these fancier, I melt some white chocolate chips in a ziploc, then snip a corner and thinly drizzle it over the tops of the cookies; it looks very elegant but isn't at all hard to do.

Shortbread - there's nothing simpler:

(Caster sugar is also super fine sugar - but it's NOT powdered sugar).

to make fancy add finely chopped nuts or dip in melted chocolate or dip in melted chocolate then in finely chopped nuts. I've also seen recipes with tea and other spices added. I've also cut into fancy christmas shapes as opposed to fingers.

Another idea is coconut macaroons.
