I'll be there the last week of April through the first week of May. Do you think they will have discounted general public codes? Or any discounts for rooms.

I called Disney to ask about Discounts. I got the worst customer sevice member I ever encountered. He knew nothing. He must have been new. I did manage to get a little info out of him. There are AAA discounts for CS arriving April 19. For 4 nights with a water view it would be $754, or $169 per night plus tax. For 4 nights at the Wilderness it would be $1339. He said that there s no AAA discount at the Wilderness Lodge, (But first he said villa, and he kept refering to the 1 bedroom) I really want the Wilderness, but I don't want to pay that much.

We went in 2001 and 2002 ~ Codes were awesome in 2002. We are planning April 2006 trip too. We will be disappointed if there are no codes. S

My arrival date will be the Wednesday after Easter. I would think that would be a busy week. Does anyone know if codes are usualy avalable the week after Easter?

Does anyone know if there are specials for on site Discounts with a Disney visa?

Well guys there hasn't been any general public codes in a while. Only aaa and ap so don't get your hopes up too high. They did have the free dining but I doubt they will have that again. I had to pay rack rate back in June and for my next trip I'm trying to run the numbers with aaa and a ap discount.

The only codes available now are AAA and AP. There has not been a special Disney Visa code in a while, although I keep hoping for one. When we went in 2004 we got a great discount with the credit card. The AAA discount is always good and even if you are not currently a member, it may be worth it to join in order to get the discount. There are also many other discounts offered to AAA members at many places other than Disney. Without trying real hard you can easily get your dues back by using the card for many discounts.

That's what I was trying to decide about. I have a new car with its own roadside service so I wouldn't use it for that so I was trying to figure out if the $69 membership was worth it for other things. I'll have to go to their website and check it out. Thanks

I would be willing to invest in an AP, but with the best rate program taking over I'm a little leary. In the past I would wait for the AP discounts to be released, book my room, then buy my pass when I arrive in Florida. Now I would have to buy the pass early and book through the BRP. If a good rate doesn't comeout, I will have an AP that I really would have been better off not buying.

I booked the CS for $161 a night including tax. This is the AAA rate. I'll just keep checking for a better deal at a deluxe, but I won't hold my breath. At least a got a room. I will only do 4 nights at Disney and will spend the other 6 nights on Universal property at the Royal Pacific. They ususaly have very good deals for Universal AP holders. You can see the rate well in advance without having to go through all the best rate stuff that Disney is doing.

there are TONS of things you can get discounts with AAA. Of course hotels are number one, but I've been to all sorts of theme parks and restaurants that give you a discount with AAA.
